Reportedly, Mr. Anders has apologized in the House of Commons this morning for his comments of late February early March of 2012. However, he has not stepped down from his position on the Standing Committee on Veteran Affairs.
Veteran Emergency transition Services (V.E.T.S.) President, Jim Lowther and Director of Policy and Communications, David MacLeod DO NOT accept Mr. Anders apology.
“Mr. Anders resignation from the Standing Committee of Veteran Affairs is required.”
Jim Lowther CD, President if V.E.T.S.
“Mr. Anders actions and attitude in late February do not demonstrate the required standard. We have discussed the issue with other veterans and conclude that Mr. Anders does not have the best interest of Veterans at heart.”
